Jing Chen
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Chalmers University of Technology since May 2024.
My research addresses critical challenges in energy-efficient computing, with a focus on task-based programming models, performance and power modeling, and intelligent task scheduling for modern parallel architectures. I develop adaptive runtime systems and scheduling algorithms for heterogeneous computing platforms, including multi-core CPUs, GPUs, and accelerators. My work spans multiple programming models (OpenMP, CUDA, SYCL) and explores innovative approaches to balance energy consumption with computational performance.
